Calendar Entry: Trumpeter Jimmy Leach and Organist Will Sherwood will kick off this season's "Brown Bag" Concert Series at Mechanics Hall in Worcester on July 24 at noon. The concert is free and open to the public. Entry: The 3500-pipe 1964 Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ, newly
restored from the church fire of June 2000 at First Unitarian, Worcester,
will be the featured accompanying instrument along with timpani, choir
and soloists for a performance of Brahms' A German Requiem on
Sunday, November 5 at 10:15am (prelude begins). Doug Lippincott is
the featured timpanist, and Will Sherwood will be conducting from the
organ console. The restored sanctuary boasts improved acoustics and sparkling
